Today you are going to go back to April 8th's assignment, look at the comments I posted and make corrections. The corrections should be posted after my comments on April 8th. Do not put the comments on today's assignment. This was not part of yesterday's assignment so if you did it yesterday, I ignored it. Double check your answers.

Today you have the chance to make up any missed assignments from March 30 to the present. The assignments are due by the end of the 9pm today. If you have to make up work, you must post your answers as a private comment on the date of that assignment. Do not post on today's assignment. All students MUST do the attendance form for today. This is my way of having you check in with me. If you have nothing to make up, do your attendance and enjoy your day.

Correct wb problems from Monday and Tuesday. The answers are attached with an explanation of how to do each problem. After that, complete section 4-8 practice b #s 3,5,11,15,19 and fill in the answers on the form.

You are going to make corrections to your work from yesterday. I have sent comments to let you know which ones are wrong. Send your answers back to me as a "private comment". If you have all the answers correct, please put in your comment "all correct" as your way of checking in with me.
Reminder - to divide fractions, we say we "multiply by the reciprocal", this means copy the first fraction, change the division symbol to multiplication and then flip the 2nd fraction. Now you have a multiplication problem. Multiply numerator times numerator and denominator times denominator. Simplify if possible.
If the problem has mixed numbers, you must first change it to an improper fraction then do the steps listed above.

Last week, I sent handwritten notes from me explaining what to do, please refer to these notes.

Attached is a document with the answer to the mystery number you completed on Wednesday of last week. Check your answer. If you did not get it correct, follow the explanation to see how you find the answer. Next, is another document with the answers to the work from last Tuesday 3/31 (p228 23,24, 36) and a copy of the workbook page for today.
After checking your work, re-do the ones you got wrong then go on to complete #s 6,9,12, 15,and 18 on workbook page 39. Do the problems in your notebook and fill out the attached form with your answers. Remember you may have to look back over the textbook or the notes I sent last week to refresh your memory about how to work the problems.

Today's assignment is to make sure you have turned in all work up to this point or made corrections I have asked you to make in the private comments section of your assignments. See if you can find the answer to the attached brain teaser. Post your answer as a private comment.

Attached to today's work you will find an explanation, handwritten by me, that explains how to multiply fractions, divide fractions, change an improper to a mixed number and a mixed number to an improper fraction. Please look these over. There are still quite a few of you who seem to have difficulty with multiplying fractions. You need to know how to do this in order to divide fractions. I have typed "private comments" again to each of you about section 4-7 corrections. If you still have something wrong, use the notes I am sending to help you correct your work. I am also attaching the answers to p 228 1-6 with the solution worked out for you. Again, please check your answers and use the notes I am sending to help you correct it. Today you will do a few more division problems, some will have negative numbers (remember your rules) and another will have 3 fractions to divide. Divide the first two fractions, get answer, then rewrite the problem with the answer as your first fraction divided by the third fraction to get your final answer. Complete p. 228 #s 23,24,36 and place the answers on the form and submit.

Please look at and re-do from Thursday, 3/26, section 4-7 practice b. I have looked at your answers and left comments about them Please look over all 5 questions again and re-submit your answers on the new form that is attached today. If there is nothing to correct, re-submit your answer. Also, look at the answers to your work from Friday. The problems are worked out for you to check and see where you went wrong. Complete page 228 1 through 6 and fill in the answers on the correct form below.

If you are in my homeroom, please visit our homeroom page to do your attendance. We are trying to move to our normal school attendance.
Some teachers may still do it in every class till we get it all setup. Please pay attention to their directions. But please make sure you fill it out for me in our homeroom. Today you are going to check your work from Friday. The answers are attached along with how to work out the problems. Please look for you mistakes and correct your work. Next you will complete workbook page 38. Do the last column on the page (3,6,9, 12,15,18) and number 20. Complete the problems showing all work in your notebook. Take a picture of the notebook work and turn in to me for credit. I am also attaching a file which should help you to submit your work to me. Please use it to help you. I am finding work in many different places. It is hard to locate it. Many of you are turning in your work in the comments section. No one should be able to see your work but me. Also I am sending another attachment about the work and the pictures of work that I am receiving. Please read this. Lastly, there will be a form for you to fill out.

Correct your work from yesterday with the answers provided. The problems are actually worked out if you did not get them right. Complete the assignment listed on the attachment and submit.

Complete attendance before 3:30 pm.
Watch the slide show and do the assignment at the end. If there are definitions to copy for vocabulary, you must do it.
You are to complete the examples and problems at the end in your notebook like you always do at school. I should not see work on crumpled looseleaf. Work should neat. You must put your name, the date and the assignment at the top. Number the problems, copy the problem, show me the work and the answer. When taking a picture be sure to show all of the work. Many were missing the last problem today. Also be sure that you don't send me an assignment for another class, I received what looked like a religion assignment today. It also may be helpful to put on some more light. The pictures were very dark and hard to see. Mr. Bonura said it is okay to use your cell phone to take the picture if that would be more helpful. Please help each other out concerning the taking of pictures and submitting. Your assignment must be turned in by 9pm.
