2. Answer the chapter questions on Google Form (attached).

Read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe Chapter 9. Submit a one-paragraph summary of the chapter. Use correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. That counts as part of your assessment. (You can use either Google Docs or Google Slides to submit.)

Vocabulary Workshop Unit 6 (all words):
Follow the link below to practice your words from that unit. **Use your school Google account to join the class. I do not want you to give them your personal information by creating your own account.

Also, I can log into my account on that website and see your progress, so I will know whether you practiced or not and how you did. You do not need to report anything to me.

10-15 minutes of practice on this link is fine for today! If you want to do more, feel free, but otherwise, stop at 15 minutes.

You may use your book if you need to remind yourself of the definitions.

2. Write a one-paragraph chapter summary of Chapter 8. You are providing a chapter summary, not a detail-by-detail account of the chapter. Sentence structure, punctuation, capitalization, spelling, and grammar will ALL matter. If it looks like you copied and pasted from a website, I will google it to check. Your paragraph should be at least 5 sentences in length. Type your summary on Google Docs, and submit to me.

1. Read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe Chapter 2.
2. Use your Vocabulary List and Allusions List to answer the corresponding Chapter 2 questions on the Google Form.

Use your Allusions and Vocabulary list.

1. Read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe Chapter 1.
2. If possible, print out the Vocabulary List and the Allusions List. (The vocabulary list is obvious. The allusions list contains notes that explain various things in the chapter: British words or terms you may not know, symbolism that the author included, allusions to historical figures, etc. Use this as you read; you may want to read it BEFORE you read the chapter so you understand when you get to it.)
3. Use your novel, your Vocabulary List, and your Allusions List to answer the corresponding Chapter 1 questions on the Google Form. THAT IS NOT ATTACHED HERE. I had to attach it separately under Classwork so that I could import the grades. (Just like every other chapter quiz you did for TMN.)

1. Read the informational passage (on PDF) about The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. (It might be easiest to print it if you can.)
2. Use the passage to answer the questions on the Google Form.
3. Watch the attached video. Because it's Wednesday. And because I asked you to.

1. Practice your Vocabulary Workshop Unit 6 #11-20 synonyms and antonyms on the Google Forms quiz
2. Correct your TMN Ch. 14 & 15 questions.

1. The Magician’s Nephew theme - Go over the attached Google Slides presentation first.
2. Open the Google Form and use text evidence to describe how each of the themes is demonstrated in the novel.
