I am the Music Teacher/ Choir Director and Art Teacher for St. Matthew the Apostle School. My other roles at SMA include pianist/singer for the music ministry, alum, past parent, and active parishioner. I graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelor's of Music Therapy and worked in the Psychiatric Hospital setting specializing in children. I worked as a Music Therapist for 5 years.  Following staying at home with my young children, I began teaching at John Calvin Preschool. I taught at Ursuline Academy for one year. This is my 23rd year of teaching and 18th year teaching at SMA.

I have been married for 36 years. Our son, a teacher at Chapelle, and daughter in law are wonderful parents to our grandson. Our daughter is also a teacher. My parents and family have been parishioners since the beginning of our parish. This community is home to me.
