About Me: 

My favorite thing about SMA is the community. I always knew I wanted to teach at a Catholic School to not only share my love of Jesus but also to grow in my own faith. Everyone at SMA is so loving and supportive, and I immediately felt welcomed when I started teaching in the 2024-2025 school year.

I teach 1st grade at SMA, and my favorite subject to teach is reading! 1st grade is such a special year for students, and I love watching them grow from reading a few words to full books on their own! My favorite part of the school day is Friday mornings when we go to Mass.

I love to read, and my favorite children’s book ever is Chrysanthemum. I also coach Volleyball and Softball at SMA, and I enjoy getting to know the Middle School girls who play on the teams! My favorite sports teams to watch are LSU and the Saints!
