I am beginning my 37th year in education and have had the joy of teaching second, third, fourth, fifth, seventh, and eighth grades in public, private, and Catholic schools. I have been part of the St. Matthew the Apostle community since 2010 and love being here.

Teaching has been my lifelong passion. Although I do not live in the parish, I consider myself a parishioner because of the strong connection I feel with the SMA families. The parents are incredibly supportive, and their commitment to Catholic values helps create a positive, faith-filled environment. Our administration encourages growth and innovation, making SMA a place where teachers and students thrive. I am proud to be part of a school on the cutting edge!

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of New Orleans after attending Louisiana State University. I am lifetime certified to teach grades 1–8.

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, watching movies, exploring technology, and spending time with my husband, our two grown daughters, two beautiful grandchildren, and our dog.

SMA is going places, and I’m proud to be part of its journey!
