Emma Castay - Assistant Principal of Student Development

About: I am honored to be in my 8th year at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic School and my 2nd year serving as Assistant Principal. Before transitioning into administration, I spent six wonderful years teaching 1st grade.  Our students’ enthusiasm and love of learning continually inspire me. St. Matthew strikes the perfect balance between time-honored traditions and innovative educational tools, helping our children grow spiritually, academically, and socially. It is a blessing to accompany them on their educational journey.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University; Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Holy Cross
