K4J

Here at St. Matthew the Apostle, we offer a wonderful program called K4J (“Kids for Jesus”). Our students absolutely love K4J. It is an after school program that meets once a month.

K4J believes in your child’s ability to use his/her spiritual power to make a positive impact in your family, with their friends, and even in their community.

We have a lot of fun talking about the magnificent virtues of our Catholic faith. These virtues allow the children to choose what is good and make good decisions. We have a mission pack each month that includes all of the information needed to make sure our students are able to understand and live by the virtue discussed. 

As the children are learning more about Jesus we rotate stations. These stations include lots of fun games, crafts, skits, and snack. The children really look forward to K4J each month and their excitement shows. With God’s grace we can do wonderful things for both ourselves and others.
