St. Matthew the Apostle School is a member of the National Junior Beta Club. Its mission is to “promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership.” Students in 6th grade who earn a place on the Honor Roll in the first 3 quarters are nominated for membership for the following school year. Nominees must maintain Honor Roll status for the 1st – 3rd quarters of the next school year, complete five (5) hours of community service, and participate in a mandatory group service project in order to be inducted before the end of the spring semester. Qualifying students are invited to join based upon the above criteria. Invitations for membership are sent directly to those students who meet the eligibility requirements.
