Choir
The St. Matthew the Apostle School Choir is comprised of 3rd through 7th graders. As members of the choir, students learn singing techniques, performance etiquette, and the rehearsal process. Students learn self expression and the importance of team work.
They also participate in music ministry and provide service through music.
The choir leads the singing at weekly masses and various parish events.
They perform at different venues throughout the year, including Celebration in the Oaks, the Lighthouse on the Lake, St. Francis Villa, the Pelicans’ game, the Babycakes’ game and Lakeside Mall.
They also have a “showchoir” concert in the spring.
One of the most important goals for the students is to have fun while learning about music!!
